Inktober Pen and Ink Drawings

Encouraged by Artists

Annual Art challenge/ 2020 Prompt List

Using a prompt list helps fellow artists

work on shared drawing ideas with

 their own individual interpretation.

Alphonso Dunn

is one of the Original Artist

 inspirations of Jake's new book.

Artists are spurred on by their surroundings and by others.

This is the nature of creativity.

We must ALWAYS acknowledge our sources in all art forms.

One intriguing shout out I heard today: the author of

The Martian Chronicles was inspired by

The Grapes of Wrath. Wow. Who inspires you?

Alumni and Educator Shout Out

My gratitude to the Advanced Artists of 2006-2020

and to  illustration Artist, educator, & mentor,

Master Seguritan for leading the way in exploring Digital Art & the Inktober drawing challenges, which several

Alumni & students have been continuing on ever since.

I will be using vpweb's stock photos as placeholders.

All of the drawings posted here are mine but inspired by our culture and recognizable characters of the last 20 years.

I take no credit for designing the original beings, these are simply my sketches based on studies of their likenesses.

Do you recognize any of my inspirations?

(Finding Nemo, Tale of Despereaux, Kung Fu Panda, The Granary Quilt Bird, and RBG

MY FAVORITE PEN AND INK ARTISTS
